Stéphane Dumas
I spotted this French article who did a little line about Totally Spies. Just a quick summary, it mentionned a rumor of new episodes coming for 2013 in France.
http://www.toutelatele.com/article.php3?id_article=34615

Here the part of the French article then I quoted
QUOTE
Quant à la série phare de la chaîne, Totally Spies, elle reviendra en 2013 avec de nouveaux épisodes survitaminés.

I hope it's true. It could be interesting if someone at Marathon have more infos about this.
Clovers Friend
It would be awesome if they made some new episodes, lets hope they do smile.gif

I hope too, if they do, let's hope they'll study some missing plotlines like

-fathers of Clover and Sam who didn't appeared yet.

-characters we wish for a 2nd cameo appearance: Donna the biker girl from season 1, Normy and Madison, also Ariel from W.O.W. who promised then she'll be back.

Edit: I forgot then it could be nice to see Pam, Crimson and Alice (from Spies vs Spies) back for retirement in one mission.

-team-up of Geraldine with Terrance and/or Tim Scam.

-another crossover with Martin Mystery including cameos of Diana and Java.

And if they go with the spin-off path, do one with Britney with her 2 teamates of she mentionned in "Escape from WOOHP Island".

The next question, will be, what they'll do with the Amazing Spiez?
phoebe
Wow, it would be soo cool if they do =]

Didn't the spies eradicate all evil in the world though? xD

There might be parts of the world where evil still exists (case in point Mandy still have a grudge against the Spies) and there might be also some evils minds coming from other planets.

Clovers Friend
I'm pretty sure they could come up with some new villains for the spies to fight. cool.gif
espionne
Thanks for bringing up this article! From the looks of it, it seems as though this is definitely going to happen (the article used the future tense rather than the conditional tense). I'm looking forward to seeing the new episodes! smile.gif
Stéphane Dumas
We could imagine some possibilities here for these future new episodes:

-Sam, Clover and Alex are back from retirement after something happened to Jerry.

-a prequel series with Pam, Crimson and Alice from Spies vs Spies

-spin-off featuring Britney and her 2 teamates she mentionned in "Escape from WOOHP Island".

-slim chances to happen but who knows? wink.gif Marathon working in a co-production with a Japanese studio (Toei, Aniplex, Studio Pierrot, Sunrise, TMS, stc....) in an anime spin-off in a concept more or less similar to what PPGZ was for PPG.(Powerpuff Girls)
Clovers Friend
Whatever they come up with, I shall just be happy to see some new episodes. laugh.gif
w.s.c.a
When translated the text states:

As for the chain's flagship series, Totally Spies , it will return in 2013 with new episodes eights.

Lets hope its true!
(and that their voices arent changed with some other cruddy ones pinch.gif
espionne
Arghhhh. If they really end up replacing the voice actors (especially for Clover and Sam), I think I will throw a fit!
Clovers Friend
If they have to get new actors to do the voices, for whatever reason, it will be hard, but we will have to get used to it, I'm afraid. ohmy.gif
espionne
Nooooooo! I don't WANT them to replace Clover's voice actor! As much as I get annoyed with Clover sometimes, I think her voice actor does an amazing job...
Clovers Friend
I hope they don't change the voices as well, but whether they do or not, its just good that they are making some new episodes.
espionne
Very true. New episodes with different voice actors beats having no episodes any day.
kendall112
I hope this happens.
espionne
It will happen. The article used the future tense, not the conditional tense, so it looks like this is a certainty and not merely speculation.
yingxuy
From its appearance, although it seems the article is going to happen with the future tense, rather than the conditional tense.
espionne
Now that 2012's officially here (and its first two months have nearly flown by!), I'm wondering at what point in 2013 the new episodes will be released. Any predictions? The very first TS episode, "A Thing For Musicians", aired in November of 2001, so if they go by that then we might have to wait a little longer for the new episodes (i.e. expect them towards the end of the year).
Oumaya
I cant wait for totally spies season 6 to come next year!! blush.gif
Samfanatic
Me too im compleatly Stocked about the upcoming of season 6!! smile.gif

i have a pretty good idea of how the season would start out: Remmber the Brain. I think he would have known that Jerry was one day going to use a machine to rid the world of evil so he makes a machine that shields him from the the machine that makes everything good.

Also i hope they bring G.L.A.D.I.S. back. I don't really know why they got rid of her in season 5. The only thing i can think of is that they could't find an actriss to play her voice or that they wanted to make things go back to the way they were befor G.L.A.D.I.S. was built.
Ocik
I must say i like your idea with anti-good shield. Remember, he used hypno waves on guard, forcing him to unlock his cell. He could do the same to Jerry but less noticeably and read his thoughts. The Brain is one of the best villians in TS, in my opinion, he overcomes Tim Scam (sorry Espionne lol). Who else tried to launch so many nukes and start WW3?
Another thing that makes him unforgettable is his appearance in first-class episode Evil G.L.A.D.I.S.:

1) cute Town Theme at the beginning, Clover taking shots of goods she likes with her pink phone, then fights with mandy over YMB boots.
2) suggestive lollipops for Clover and Sam
3) hot xmas costumes
4) Mad Gladis = now that´s something fearful
5) Teaming up with villian in order to save the world + Alex "borrowed" some cleaner from woohp "but i was gonna pay it back" lmao
6) TS Mission Impossible music + cool jet + 2 nukes go BOOM
espionne
Haha, it's okay. Actually, the Brain is among my favorite villains as well (though obviously I still prefer Scam wink.gif) - he's not as flat or one-dimensional as most of the other villains in the series. He's like this scheming, secretive guy who can end up being really unpredictable.
Samfanatic
lol yeah, if you think about it, the brain is a lot like the Joker from Batman. Extremely Smart and insane in a one path sort of way.

Hes definutly one of my favorite villians.

Allan
I am so excited for 2013!!! :) I try to watch it online but, i can never find any full episodes. :) :sam: :alex: :clover: :mandy: :britney: :jerry:. waiting for a new season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
espionne
I especially hope the new season is going to be good in the sense that Seasons 1, 2, and 3 were good. If it turns out being more along the lines of Season 5, I likely won't be as thrilled.
Ocik
QUOTE

According to the main character designer at Marathon:

QUOTE
the fact is TS is supposed to be a TV show for young girls(6-13 years old) and producers are really strict about the design of bodies or clothes. In the 2 first Seasons we used to see really short dresses or some high socks in the serie. Now I often have modification to do on the clothes design because they say that's "too Sexy" for the spies. Disney TV is one of our main client, and they have a certain power to decide what is ok or not.
That's a pity, in my opinion because all TV show are "sterilized" by producers in hope to be appreciated by TV channels. At the end all TV series productions done here in France are "without flavour", and too baby-rendered. XDDD
If you have seen the movie, I've done the poster > [link] That's my design for the spies. I don't know if it will be apply in the studios that makes the animation. They modify a little charadesign when they realease the animation to homogenize the whole series.
anyway I'm glad to be in this ship ! I like this show!

Don´t lose hope folks, she always tries to make Clover look sexy .
espionne
Thanks, Ocik - that was good to know. :D But just to clarify, I meant that I hoped Season 6's plots/storylines would be more similar to those of Seasons 1/2/3 - more interesting villains, evil plans that weren't so easily figured out, etc.
alex_awesome
OMG REALLY YAY YAY YAY!!!
but i hope they dont change the art like some of cartoons...
wub.gif yay
alex_awesome

Samfanatic

Coz TV broadcasters are going to licence S6 and older seasons and want ppl to watch (and pay cash) TS on their channels instead of YT where its for free.
RySenkari
if they want people to pay cash for episodes, they need to release a DVD set for seasons 1-5. I'd pay like 70 bucks to get the first 130 episodes in a nice DVD set, with maybe some voice actress commentaries.

Maybe for the 200th episode, they'll fight the Negative Spies? The Negative Spies are the Totally Spies' evil counterparts from another dimension. alex.gif sam.gif clover.gif

I love the idea for a fanboy blue-ray set..... I'd also like the spies to do commentaries you know like Clover comments on her outfits you know stuff like that!

I'd also want more video games, and a TS coloring book! happy.gif sweat.gif
Ocik
Yea, commentaries about their daily life or something like that, that would be interesting and maybe fill some plot holes!

Gadget Info (Information on every gadget used by the spies, with clips of many of them in use).

Other assorted information/extras that didn't fit on the other discs

-

For those without Blu-Ray, a 15-disc DVD set would be available for an MSRP of $99.99, it would contain the five seasons on three discs each. Some of the featurettes and commentaries would be omitted, along with the content of the two extra discs.

I hope that it would in stores here in the states.

The set I described would be intended for the US, Canada, and perhaps the UK and Australia. There would obviously be a French set along similar lines (probably bigger and better since Totally Spies is a French cartoon) and probably sets for Germany, Latin America, Spain, Russia, Japan, and other countries with different voice actor commentaries. Actually, voice actor commentaries and in-character commentaries would probably be limited to the English language sets and the French set, the other countries would most likely get more bare-bones sets (with possibly better packaging or more extra collectibles to make up for it)

If someone were to preorder the non Blu-Ray set do they get the poster too?
RySenkari
No, it would only be for the Blu-Ray.

And yeah I did put a lot of thought into it, I love thinking about things like this, even if we'll never get anything like it in real life happy.gif;;; If something like that WAS announced I'd preorder it in a second.

Will this dvd set also comes with Totally Spies the movie?
RySenkari
No, the movie would be part of the Blu-Ray extras. I'm sure there's already a seperate DVD of the movie.
