A new hand-held Totally Spies game, Totally Spies 4: Around the World, has been anounced by Ubisoft for release in Europe for the Nintendo DS.  Unfortunately, there is no word on whether this new game or the previous, Totally Spies 3, will ever be released for the North American market.

Ubisoft has launched the fourth phase of the Totally Spies license based on the TV series. With your friends Spies, members of a spy agency, you represent the University of Mali-U through a sort of treasure hunt organized by the MMO (the World Museum). Your goal is to find three different objects as members of the MMO have hidden somewhere in the world (Paris, London, Beijing ...). But while you traveled the world, you will realize that something goes wrong and you must conduct the investigation, with the key, fifteen puzzles to solve.

Alex best friend, Sam and Clover intello the most popular, you have to drag you from the beginning of the adventure in the skin of one of the three heroines. You can also choose how you will dress for the beginning of the adventure. The grip of the game is quite simple and not require lengthy learning. During the adventure, you'll have to visit several locations to collect clues and talk to people you encounter (there are nearly 40). They are the ones that allow you to advance in the game.

Recently, Amazon.com has listed new pre-order pages for Totally Spies: Totally Party for Playstation 2 and the Nintendo Wii with a March, 31 2009 release date for both games.  Previously versions for this game had only been available in the US for the PC and for video game platforms over seas.  This will also be the first time a Totally Spies video game has been released in the US for a non-handheld platform.  Hopefully, this is a good sign of things to come in regards to Marathon bringing Totally Spies back to the US marketplace.
